KYB Excel-G Shocks & Struts Reviews

OEM quality

Reviewed By Anatoly G (Los Angeles, CA) Reviewed for a 1998 Chevy Metro —10/5/2015 8:29 PM

KYB is the Japanese company specializing in shock absorbers and supplying original parts to a number of car manufacturers. The KYB front struts for Chevrolet Metro that I purchased were made in Japan. Installation was straightforward. The enclosed pictographic installation instructions weren't very intelligible, but they are not really necessary. The struts replaced the 17-year old factory set with 212K miles on it, which was still working well, but one unit developed oil leak. They work fine.

2007 Chevy Tahoe 4x4

Shocks were exactly what I was looking for. Good quality at a great price. Be aware that you'll need to compress the front strut coils to install the new shocks. Not too bad of a job for any basic handyman. Also, be careful not to disconnect any wiring while installing the passenger rear, since the ABS wires run along the top of the frame. Thanks auto anything for another great purchase!

VIAIR 300P Portable Air Compressor Reviews

Lots of power.

Reviewed By Larry F (Millington, TN) Reviewed for a 2003 Chevy S10 Pickup —9/6/2015 6:57 AM

Will air up a car tire quick for a small unit. Appears to be well made (should be for the price). Enough air connectors to handle most inflations. The deflate feature is handy. Had high reviews from users.
