KYB Excel-G Shocks & Struts Reviews

OEM quality

Reviewed By Anatoly G (Los Angeles, CA) Reviewed for a 1998 Chevy Metro —10/5/2015 8:29 PM

KYB is the Japanese company specializing in shock absorbers and supplying original parts to a number of car manufacturers. The KYB front struts for Chevrolet Metro that I purchased were made in Japan. Installation was straightforward. The enclosed pictographic installation instructions weren't very intelligible, but they are not really necessary. The struts replaced the 17-year old factory set with 212K miles on it, which was still working well, but one unit developed oil leak. They work fine.

Belltech Bump Stop Kit Reviews

Good quality and one of the few replacements.

Reviewed By Mark S (SAGINAW, MN) Reviewed for a 1999 Chevy Silverado —11/15/2015 3:11 PM

They were a little hard to install with the limited clearance below the bump stop and a small hole about to tighten the nut. It was a little more difficult with the fact that it has a allen head. Seem like decent quality and hopefully will last as long as I will need them too.

Air Lift Load Controller II Reviews

air lift controller installation

Reviewed By dennis s (hannah, ND) Reviewed for a 2003 Chevy Silverado —11/13/2015 5:25 PM

it took me about 3 hours to install. i wanted the gauge/control to fit/look nice in the truck. i also wanted all the components inside the cab. i live in a rural setting and drive on gravel/dirt alot, so i wanted the compressor breathing clean air. there was just enough of every thing to reach. it is doing a good job and i like knowing what the air bags are doing. it is also nice to hit the switch to increase/decrease pressure as needed.
