If your looking for a less expensive way to haul with bags, these are great. Towed my 26' camper 5000lbs with now prob. I leveled my Chevy 1500 and these got it back the rear back up to match the front. No more rocking over bumps. I did not get the air compressor. I may get one in the future.

Modifications needed to fit the chevy 1500 crew cab !

Reviewed By timothy o (BATTLE CREEK, MI) Reviewed for a 2008 Chevy Silverado —4/27/2016 3:42 AM

The aircell was all it was described and it will fit the 2008 chevy crew cab but the original bumper cups need to be removed to allow 1/2'' free space between the aircell and the axle pad to allow for a normal ride while unloaded . I decided to remove the cup with a grinder and that allowed the 1/2'' free space unloaded .possibly there is a different aircell that will fit without modifications. I pulled a 16' steel enclosed trailer 400 miles and had no sway or sag ! The aircell worked great

air lift controller installation

Reviewed By dennis s (hannah, ND) Reviewed for a 2003 Chevy Silverado —11/13/2015 5:25 PM

it took me about 3 hours to install. i wanted the gauge/control to fit/look nice in the truck. i also wanted all the components inside the cab. i live in a rural setting and drive on gravel/dirt alot, so i wanted the compressor breathing clean air. there was just enough of every thing to reach. it is doing a good job and i like knowing what the air bags are doing. it is also nice to hit the switch to increase/decrease pressure as needed.
