"i put a torsion bar lift on my 2500hd and when we hooked up the 5th wheel the truck was to high in the front this product leveled out the truck and it was easy to install! great warrentee also" —James C from Cranberry Twp, PA bought an Air Lift Air Bag Suspension Kit for a 2003 Chevy Silverado, 2500HD.
"I needed a little more suspension for a heavier trailer. I did not want to move up to a heavier suspension. This did the trick perfectly." —Eric H from Harrisonville, PA bought an Air Lift Air Bag Suspension Kit for a 2003 Chevy Silverado, 1500, light-duty.
"Kit was well designed and USA made. Only problem was instructions were sketched pics not actual pics of the item being installed. It took me about 3 hours to get it installed. Not bad for the first time. If I ever do it again on friends rig I will have them help and cut the time in half." —Seth C from Necedah, WI bought an Air Lift Air Bag Suspension Kit for a 2003 Chevy Silverado, 1500HD.
"Excellent product. Very pleased with the quality. It does exactly what it is supposed go do. The C clamp that wraps the axle tube could be a little more rigid and the directions indicate the base should lock into the exisfing flares on the truck, the airlift bottom plate misses these flares by at least an inch on both sides. Does not even grab them. Still happy w/ the product though." —Randall P from Millers Creek, NC bought an Air Lift Air Bag Suspension Kit for a 2003 Chevy Silverado, 2500 HD.
"I looked at every review on this Firestone Air Bag Suspension Kit. Autoanything.com had the very best price. They are installed and I can see that they will be a great help in fine tuning my suspension when pulling my TT. Anyone that has an RV knows that the load weight changes from trip to trip. It depends on a lot of variables i.e. water on board, waste in the grey/black tanks, etc. This air bag system allows me to tweak weight distribution. I'm a happy camper." —Leigh P from Vancouver, WA bought a Firestone Air Bag Suspension Kit for a 2003 Chevy Silverado.
"This is the second air lift kit I have purchased. The last one was for my old Silverado 1500. This new kit is now on my 2500HD Duramax. Although my truck doesn't sag when towing my 5th wheel toyhauler, the airbags help keep it stable over the bumps. Truck seems to handle better now. My only complaint, although I should have known this when ordering was that they should have you select if your truck is lifted or not when placing the order. I had to order the spacer kit due to my 6 inch lift. Not only would I recommend this airlift system, I do recommend it and two of my buddy's have installed it on their trucks as well." —Jamie W from Maricopa, AZ bought an Air Lift Air Bag Suspension Kit for a 2003 Chevy Silverado.
"INSTALLATION WAS VERY EASY,
SECOND SIDE WAS EVEN EASIER.
INSTRUCTIONS EASY TO FOLLOW
AND INFORMATIVE. HAVEN'T PULLED MY 5TH WHEEL YET BUT LOOKING FORWARD TO IT." —Zane C from Sterling Heights, MI bought an Air Lift Air Bag Suspension Kit for a 2003 Chevy Silverado.
"I installed the on board compressor today as I tow a couple times a day but like the smooth ride and handling of the independent suspension when I am not towing. The installation was pretty easy but did take a few hours to get everything where I wanted it. The gauge mount is a little too old school looking to mount in my dash so I installed it just under the bed rail. Looks and works great." —Shane W from Woodinville, WA bought a Firestone In-Cab System for a 2003 Chevy Silverado.
"My Silverado has a problem with squatting when I load up our 16ft trailer with quads. I installed this kit and I think it works great so far. I typically drive around with about 25lbs or pressure because I like the look of the slight rake and slightly harder response.
One thing I will say is this: Lots of people didn't have a problem with leaking - one of my sides did. I tried everything to get the quick connectors or threads on the valve which goes into the bag to stop leaking. One side was great, but I couldn't get the other to stop leaking.
I finally threw in the towel and went to the hardware store to buy a set of metal flanged connectors for onto of the bags. 2 90's, 2 flaired inserts for the hoses and 2 of the threaded caps that tension it all to the 90's. 10 bucks in parts. Problem completely solved.
Other than that hiccup I love the system." —Michael C from Clinton Township, MI bought a Firestone Air Bag Suspension Kit for a 2003 Chevy Silverado, 1500.
"Only had them for a short while but so far, so good. Easy to install..just take your time and DO torque everything to what they recommend. Instructions that come with it are ok, but I found a video online (Google search) that was awesome. Showed and explained everything. I ended up putting both of the air valves in one wheel well (near the top) because I will be filling them with a camper on the truck and that would have covered them if I put them on the rear bumper where they suggested." —Richard M from Santa Clarita, CA bought a Firestone Air Bag Suspension Kit for a 2003 Chevy Silverado, 2500HD.
