Skyjacker Lift Kits Reviews

3" skyjacker lift

Reviewed By joseph c (Grand Island, NE) Reviewed for a 2005 Chevy Silverado —9/29/2011 2:18 PM

Pictures in the directions were not very clear. make sure you keep the old hardware with all the nuts and bolts handy had to reuse a lot of the old nuts and bolts. The lift kit looks great and rides good. did not fit with the factory wheels that had a 5"backspace had to make 3/8" spacers to get clearence on the tie rod and upper control arm. To almost 30hours for two people to install.I previously had max cams up front to get a 2" level. now that the skyjacker kit is in the back is 1/2" lower than the front. would recommend 3" rear blocks (installed kit on a 2005 chevy 2500hd with duramax. Lots of grinding on front dif. to make it fit right.)

Fabtech Lift Kits Reviews

Great item!

Reviewed By Corey T (Weston, FL) Reviewed for a 2005 Chevy Silverado —10/3/2007 5:27 PM

I purchased the Fabtech 7" crossmember suspension lift for my 2WD 05 chevy silverado ext. cab and it gave it the look that it deserves. Especially with the Dick Cepek DC-1 Black wheels, and 35/12.5/17 BF Goodrich All-Terrain tires,(beings I don't do much off roading they get better gas mileage than the mud terrains). AS far as Fabtech goes, I had previously installed the 3" Spindle lift kit,(also a great product), for the same truck which helped a little, but I was still sitting too low for my taste. After I installed the 7" lift it was much more to my likeing. I sit as high or higher than the 2500 or 3500 trucks. It doesn't sound like much, but if you realize how low the 2WD 1500 sits you know the difference. It came complete with everything I needed including detailed instructions with pictures. I installed it over the weekend with a couple friends. Total work time took us approx. 12 hours, and a couple cases. I would recommend this lift to anyone who demands the 4WD look out of a 2WD truck. I've used Autoanything for many purchases and every one has been simple, smooth, and had fast delivery times. Thanks a lot!

Looks great so far

Reviewed By Ronnie F (VIDOR, TX) Reviewed for a 2017 Chevy Silverado —10/28/2017 8:21 AM

I have not installed the kit. I have inspected each and every piece, and its very well made and feels heavy duty. Doesn't appear to be a cheaply made part in any of the 4 boxes it came in. The belstine shocks looks sharp as well.
