"I installed the 1" leveling kit on my 2006 Silverado. It was a quality part and raised my front end 1" just as claimed. There is still a slight down rake but the truck looks mostly level now. Ride quality feels the same as before. You have to get an alignment done after installation." —Dillon B from Glendale, AZ bought a Daystar Comfort Ride Leveling Kits for a 2006 Chevy Silverado, 1500, light-duty, 2WD.
"I got the increased lift i wanted for my new tires and wheels. This product has an awesome ride compared to the skyjacker keysI had prior." —Justin H from Gresham, NE bought a ReadyLIFT Leveling Kits for a 2006 Chevy Silverado, 2500HD.
"I put this in by myself, in my driveway, in about 2-1/2 hrs. The first side took 2 hrs, the second took 30 min once I knew exactly what I was doing. Couple problems though. For one, seems to me that all you really need is the shock extensions. Torquing the torsion bars to the point that gives you your desired lift is going to be the same regardless of which keys youre using. They seem unnecessary to me. The kit is definitely durable, but also definitely overpriced. Also, if you have an '06, both Ready Lift and a local mechanic told me these trucks come stock with one side of the front end 1" higher than the other. Seems ridiculous to me, but I had to raise my passenger side key significantly higher than the driver side in order to get it to sit level. So the replacement torsion key bolt was too short on that side which meant I had to stick with the stock bolt. Overall though, it was easy to figure out and I got the 2" of lift I wanted." —Matt K from Savage, MN bought a ReadyLIFT Leveling Kits for a 2006 Chevy Silverado, 1500, light duty, 4WD.
