Work great but took some work to install

Reviewed By Lee R (El Paso, TX) Reviewed for a 2003 Chevy Silverado —1/10/2018 8:23 PM

I put these on to fix clunking on the up travel of my cranked Silverado. They work amazing, my truck is quiet as a mouse now. But the gm engineers put tabs where the bumpstops are..took some work to get them in but I also didn't take off the wheel.. well worth it for sure. They help close the bumpstop gap on a tb cranked front end since they are an inch longer than stock

Very pleased with these

Reviewed By Christopher W (AUSTIN, TX) Reviewed for a 2007 Chevy Silverado —12/28/2017 8:17 PM

I lowered my truck 2 in front and 4 in the rear. My front was suspension was riding on the stock bump stops after the drop so these were necessary. They're made of a hard foam with is better for bump stops than polyurethane I feel. No more bump steer! They're nice and progressive and shelter than the stock ones. Wish I had bought a second set for the rears. Cost me $24 which I feel is fair but not really a "sweet deal". Will recommend to friends and would buy again.

Modifications needed to fit the chevy 1500 crew cab !

Reviewed By timothy o (BATTLE CREEK, MI) Reviewed for a 2008 Chevy Silverado —4/27/2016 3:42 AM

The aircell was all it was described and it will fit the 2008 chevy crew cab but the original bumper cups need to be removed to allow 1/2'' free space between the aircell and the axle pad to allow for a normal ride while unloaded . I decided to remove the cup with a grinder and that allowed the 1/2'' free space unloaded .possibly there is a different aircell that will fit without modifications. I pulled a 16' steel enclosed trailer 400 miles and had no sway or sag ! The aircell worked great
