Nice looking, easy to install

Reviewed By Brandon L (PLEASANT VALLEY, MO) Reviewed for a 2001 Chevy Silverado —2/25/2015 2:41 AM

These springs were packaged nicely and came quickly from auto anything. Mine were painted nicely in a grey and black "hammered" type paint. They were pretty easy to install (impact gun highly recommended for old rusty u-bolts). They raised the rear end by about a half inch and it seems like the rear end sags about a half inch less with a load. The ride is noticeably better under load with no bouncing around or sway like before. Definitely worth $100.

SUPRISING

Reviewed By anthony l (oyster bay, NY) Reviewed for a 2002 Chevy Silverado —8/6/2014 1:24 PM

im not exactly sure why these leaf springs were painted black. seems like a waste to paint something black and ship them out of box with only a tag attached. i received them very scratched and chipped up. i haven't put them on yet because i have to locate the necessary hardware. they may ride very nicely but i wish i was the one who got to scratch them up, also i have no idea if these are even SKYJACKER brand there is no marking or box or even sticker!
