Bilstein Heavy Duty Shocks & Struts Reviews

Upgrade on Chevrolet Suburban

Reviewed By Stephen R (Derby, KS) Reviewed for a 1992 Chevy C/K 1500 —5/24/2012 5:25 AM

Recently upgraded to the Bilstein Heavy Duty Shocks on my 2005 Suburban LT 4x4 with 88k miles. What a huge difference as the ride with one person or 6 has improved tremendously. We are a long haul trip family pulling boats and small trailers. The shocks have provided a noticable difference for passengers in the back of the truck to the front. I would suggest these for any one investing to keep the beloved Suburan.

Great Shocks but Not So Simple to Install at Home

Reviewed By Kari W (OGDEN, UT) Reviewed for a 1997 Chevy C/K 1500 —9/22/2015 2:06 PM

I bought Skyjacker's M95 Performance Monotube Shocks for my 97 Chevy K1500. My truck has a 6 inch lift and these shocks fit perfectly. If you plan to install yourself, you'll need a press or vice, something to push the rubber bushing into the mount on the shock, and then you have to push the metal bracket through the rubber. Without the right tools it's a nightmare and there are zero instructions. Install is very easy after that. My truck rides smooth and after install, I <3 these shocks!
