Firestone Air Bag Suspension Kit Reviews

Work as described

Reviewed By Kris B (Idaho Falls, ID) Reviewed for a 2005 Chrysler 300 —7/30/2012 9:37 AM

Installed on a Dodge 2500. Took a few hours to install. Had to remove leveling valve and replace with a brake line per TSB included with kit. (brake line was purchased at local auto parts store) Inflated with trailer hooked up and leveled out truck perfectly. Do not have a problem sagging now. (in fact, it is actually a little higher and had to purchase a drop hitch that would go lower!) Around town without towing I lower pressure to about 15 to 20 PSI because I like the firm ride. Good buy, good product and would recommend!

VERY GOOD PRODUCT.

Reviewed By JORGE F M (La Mirada, CA) Reviewed for a 2008 Chrysler Aspen —5/4/2010 7:16 PM

I INSTALLED THIS AIR CONTROL SYSTEM IN MY 2008 CHRYSLER ASPEN IT WAS VERY EASY TO INSTALL ONCE I FOUND THE LOCATION FOR IT. MY ASPEN DOES NOT SCUATS ANY MORE. THE COMPRESSOR WENT UNDER THE MIDDLE SEAT TOWARDS THE CENTER AND THE SWITCH UNDER THE DRIVERS SEAT AND THE WIRES AND HOSES UNDER THE CARPET AND FOR THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS, I WENT TO MY LOCAL AUTO PARTS STORE AND BOUGHT SOMETHING CALLED "AD A CIRCUIT" OR SO AND CAME OUT OF THE FUSE BOX. Renee's Review

Reviewed By Rene D (Wells, NV) Reviewed for a 2004 Dodge Ram —5/19/2017 7:09 AM

Installing was easy. We mounted the unit to a sheet of aluminum that we cut to fit under the back seat and behind the flat load floor on the right side. We kept the unit loose under the back of the seat in case of need to get to it to work on it. The air lines were run through a small hole drilled into the back of the cab and then sealed around it. The unit works very well and the air compressor noise in the cab is very tolerable since you only hear it when you inflate or deflate the bags.
