Purchased these to replace the original factory shocks on my Durango. With 71,500 miles on them they were well past their usable life. The Gabriel Ultras certainly were an improvement. The ride stiffened up considerably, but isn't harsh. However, it still wallows and floats a bit.

I purchased these to replace a competitor shock which wasn't doing the job (Monroe). These shocks are more supportive and control the vehicle ride much better. I have purchased Edlebrock,Rancho shocks in the past and found them to be fine. Chose these for price and other reviews. Would purchase again
