Rancho Steering Stabilizers Reviews

My Different reason for getting this!

Reviewed By Andrew B (Roswell, GA) Reviewed for a 1999 Ford Expedition —9/4/2007 4:25 AM

Have a stock 1999 Ford Expedition 4WD. Just installed steering damper Labor Day weekend. Noticed right away that steering buckled down quite a bit on the test drive. My application for my vehicle is to tow a travel trailer (25 ft) and wanted something that tamed the "bowl of jello" I was driving. Seems to work well unloaded. Have not tested it with a trailer in back, but expect good results (this is the reason for 4/5 stars). Going over bumps and dips on roads yielded a nice ride. Side note: The steering damper was the same as the regular Rancho 5000 shock - just a different SKU number! Installation: Clear instructions, assumed you know what the car parts are, but pictures were a big help. We installed it in less than a half an hour. Quick, and good "bang for the buck" handling option.

Pro Comp Steering Stabilizers Reviews

LOVE THE PRO COMP STABLIZER & 9000 SERIES SHOCKS.

Reviewed By Richard M (HUNTSVILLE, AL) Reviewed for a 1998 Ford F-150 —12/10/2015 9:18 AM

had problem w/a bit of steering wheel wander. The steering felt Sloppy even after I had new front end and standard Monroe Gas Matic Shocks put on my 1998 Ford F-150. 4x4 I stripped off the Monroes, in favor of the PRO COMP 9000 shocks and struts and then added the PRO COMP STABILIZER. The result is absolute perfection. Rides great, stopped the Steering Wheel sliding back and forth, and the Truck feels "sure footed" and there is very little body bounce
