Air Lift Air Bag Suspension Kit Reviews

1999 Ford Explorer 4wd

Not dissapointed ! Raised the rear end by 2", smooth ride(at 30 psi so far), easy to install especially after you install the first one. The second one is a piece of cake. Allow half a day for the whole thing. Didn't like the pictures( photographs) in the instruction sheets. They didn't help at all! Very unclear. Some kind of artist's illustrations with the assembly standing out in a different shade would tell much more.

ordered and installed the air lift controller along with an air lift airbag kit for my truck and i was very pleased with how simple both were to install. the only things that i did differently was put the wires inside wire loom and i used marine heat-shrink connectors instead what air lift provided.

Air Lift Dual Load Controller System Reviews

Air lift dual load controller

Reviewed By Richard S (Mission, TX) Reviewed for a 2008 Ford F-150 —11/3/2011 10:44 AM

Good system, relatively easy to install. I was able to mount all components inside the vehicle. I have a 2008 Ford F150 and I mounted the compressor under the rear seat on the driver's side. I routed the wires and tubing from the under the dash to the rear of the cab by removing the plastic trim pieces that run along the door sill and placing wires/tubing in the existing wire trough. I only had to drill 2 small holes through the floor next to the seat belt attachment point and run the air tubing to the air bags. I used the grommet material supplied to protect the tubing from the metal edges of the holes and sealed the holes with silicon caulk. System is working perfectly.
