"They were almost easy to install, except that the boot was hard to get up inside the coil spring but I finally got it and they work great. I couldnt be happier" —Darin A from Portage, WI bought a Skyjacker Lift Kits for a 1997 Ford F-150.
"I just installed these new shocks on my 1997 Ford Lariat 4X4 1/2 ton extra cab pickup and i just handles great now. Better than when it was new i think. I put new Goodyear Wranglers on about 2 weeks before the shocks and that helped alot but the new Skyjackers and new breaks made this truck diver like new again. It has 120K miles on it and i think it even drives and handles bettr than when i bought it in 1998" —Dan B from Kent, WA bought a Skyjacker Lift Kits for a 1997 Ford F-150.
"This is a great looking shock that was easy to install and offers a very smooth and stable ride." —James P from Powhatan, VA bought a Skyjacker Lift Kits for a 1997 Ford F-150.
"Received shocks quickly. Install was straight forward and easy enough, no surprises. Trucks rides better now. Decent value for the money. Hopefully Skyjacker will take care of business and honor the rebate." —Aaron B from Wichita, KS bought a Skyjacker Lift Kits for a 1997 Ford F-150.
"Installing these shocks as with any others is pretty straight forward if you've had the experience doing so. However, most companies that sell shocks usually include a set of installation instructions with their product. Not so with the Skyjacker brand. What is noticeably missing are the torque specs necessary for installing the bushings. Since they are using polyurethane bushing these can have different torque applications than what Ford specs call for. Also, if you navigate to Skyjacker's website, they do not have installation instructions available at this time." —Stephen C from Jeffersonville, IN bought a Skyjacker Lift Kits for a 1997 Ford F-150.
