ReadyLIFT Off Road Trac Bar Reviews

fixing the "death wobble"

Reviewed By tim t (CLARKSVILLE, TN) Reviewed for a 2010 Ford F-250 —8/13/2014 3:27 PM

I drive a 2010 F250 with a 6 inch lift and 35s, at about 67,000 mile I started experiencing "death wobble". I did some research and the Ready Lift trac bar design made a lot of sense. I installed it and the "death wobble" was gone. Installation while straight forward and simple was still a major pain. The factory ball joint used on the trac bar is very large and I had to modify my ball joint press to work. Highly recommend this upgrade.

Skyjacker Nitro 8000's are great.

First set of shocks I have replaced myself. Were easy to install on my Ford F250 super duty. Look nice on truck, especially since my truck is red. Good price, and made truck ride a lot smoother. Quality did'nt get 5 star since I noticed Made in Mexico was stamped into the shocks. Will have to see how they last now.

Old Man Emu's Quality is Second-to-None!

Reviewed By Lloyd B (Colorado Springs, CO) Reviewed for a 2003 Jeep Wrangler —5/3/2015 4:12 PM

I removed the Skyjacker components on my 03 Wrangler and replaced them with the OME HD kit. The difference in quality was evident as soon as I opened up the shocks. They're heavy and substantial; clearly designed to take some abuse. Be advised the OME coils are not the same length. They're designed to offset engine and transmission torque. Install them correctly or your Jeep will sit crooked! the main difference in the HD kit is heavier springs. I have a soft top and my Jeep rides great.
