I have a Shelby GT (not the 500) and it was lowered by Shelby. It has always rode rough. I needed new camber plates and figured I'd replace the struts since it was going to be in the shop. I read in Mustang chat rooms that these had a few positive responses, so I placed an order. They were delivered quickly. These struts are amazing!!! I just put a standard pair of rear shocks on a couple of months ago,and they will be coming off for a set of Koni adjustable in back.

I have an all-original, one owner 1988 Mustang GT with 41,000 miles on it. Over time the car developed a terrible shake and I thought it must be the tires. I also noticed that one of the shocks had oil leakage and decided to see if the shocks could be the problem. After installing six new Bilstein shocks the car drives like new and really holds the road. Less expensive shocks may have done the job but I am totally satisfied with my investment in Bilstein shocks. The Mustang is fun again!
