Skyjacker M95 Performance Monotube Shocks Reviews

Impressed

Reviewed By Devin I (MISSOULA, MT) Reviewed for a 1997 Ford Ranger —2/9/2015 10:19 PM

After researching almost every shock on the market under $100 I decided on M95's. The first selling point was the description as being the fastest rebounding shock on the market, which is what I wanted in the front. The second was the aesthetics and design, namely the reverse mounting and the actual looks. With a 4" lift, you see the shocks, and I can tell you they look as awesome as they feel. The truck corners flat now and soaks up everything. The shock is stiff, but very drivable on road.

Great product, downsized my pu and the helper springs allow my 2011 ford ranger to haul my 1625 jetcraft aluminum boat with ease.

Bilstein Heavy Duty Shocks & Struts Reviews

Firm but Controlled

Reviewed By Lance W (Winchester, OR) Reviewed for a 2011 Ford Ranger —6/11/2014 7:30 AM

These are defenetely Heavy Duty. The ride is much firmer than the stock shocks, but it is a more controlled ride. I've had Bilsteins on other vehicles in the past, but these on the Ranger seem more firm than others before. I'm thinking maybe because of the lighter weight of the truck versus other heavier trucks, but then, maybe the valving is just a little heavy (?)
