Air Lift Air Bag Suspension Kit Reviews

Load leveling and ride

Reviewed By John C (Ionia, MI) Reviewed for a 1994 GMC C/K 1500 —3/6/2011 12:35 PM

Prior to instaling my Air Lift kit, I knew my suspension writing low and my old spings were getting wore out. But I did not realize how much of a side to side mismatch I had till I started taking my base frame to axle clearance measurement. I found that I had a 1" side to side mismatch with a 2 inch overall low on the weak side. The air lift allowed me to get both sides back to nominal plus gives me the option for additional load adjustment, for future loads. The headlamp aim and the my seat posture was also quite noticeably as improved in addition to the load rebound. I highly recommend them to all.

READ DIRECTIONS THOROUGHLY

Reviewed By Steven T (CELINA, TX) Reviewed for a 2011 GMC Sierra —7/14/2015 6:53 AM

Fairly easy install. Did have to switch sides with the struts once the leveling kit was installed as they have angled bottom plates and had to be rotated 180* to get the kit to fit. Also didn't cut the strut bolts until one was installed-it was in the instructions but missed it until something didn't look/fit right. still need to adjust headlights but overall, love em! no change in gas mileage either!

Love the shocks i got all four at a great price (thanks to their price matching plan) i would recommend these shocks to anyone, big improvement over stock. I added a 2.5" spacer in the front and i think a 1" in the rear.
