I have a 2006 GMC Sierra 1500 Z71 at stock height and stock height tires. The rear shocks fit perfect with no problems but the front was a different story. The shocks they sent me were the ones for my truck with a 0-1inch lift. These shocks were 1.5 to 2in shorter than the stock GM shocks and were no even long enough to fit through the shock tower hole. I called skyjacker and gthe first guy told me my truck has to be lifted and said the shocks were correct. The second person I talked to told me to raise the control arm to accommodate the shocks. I asked since they were too short would't this cause the stick to go past full extension and he said it was fine. I called a 3rd time and this guy said that I needed the 2-3in lift shocks so i ordered them. They were easy to install and so far everything is great. The new shocks are 1.5nch longer than stock GM shocks. Besides this issue, everything was great.
