ride rite firestone air springs on honda pilot

Reviewed By Michael T (Downers Grove, IL) Reviewed for a 2005 Honda CR-V —8/24/2013 1:00 PM

my vehicle was sagging in the rear end. I looked at several aftermarket products to help. Just installed these this morning - wow, what a difference. the Pilot really turns flat now. Haven't tested with the hitch haul yet, but much stiffer at only 9psi. Also had to replace the sway bar links. They were rusted -had to cut them off to lower the vehicle to get the old springs out. poor design on Honda's part - allen wrench inside the bolt to hold it while taking off the nut on the links.

In Cab Air Bag Comp System

Reviewed By Charles B (PORT ALLEN, LA) Reviewed for a 2016 Dodge Ram —9/7/2016 6:34 AM

Quality product. Installation took me about 4 hours and this was my second one I installed. I installed the gauge/control switch in the console of my 2016 Ram 2500 and the compressor under the back seat mounted on a 3/4" piece of wood. Wiring and air line to the controller from compressor routed under seat, under kick plate/carpet. Tubing from "T" through hole drilled in floor under back seat to the air bags along with wire routed through frame to the battery where the in-line fuse was installed

Amazing addition

Reviewed By Glen H (SUWANEE, GA) Reviewed for a 2011 Ford F-150 —4/14/2016 4:01 PM

I added this to my 2011 F150 with the Firestone airbags. GREAT product and works perfect. I had 2 installation issues to overcome. First was the location to place it. I mounted the compressor to the under side of the bed, directly behind the spare tire. It's well out of the weather and well protected. Second was power supply to the controller. Key point: use the exact gauge wire as any other accessories you have connect (aka: amplifier, etc.).
