TEIN H.TECH Lowering Springs Reviews

Easy, Good Ride

Reviewed By Matthew H (COLUMBIA, MO) Reviewed for a 2011 Honda CR-Z —12/19/2012 4:25 AM

I have a lift and a set of coil spring compressors but all things considered the springs were very easy to put in. The fit and finish were perfect and the drop was as advertised. I think the ride is a little softer than stock, but I reused the OEM strut (only 20k miles on them). This would be the second set of Tein springs I've used on a car, and I havent been disappointed yet. Actually...I didnt get a sticker for the car. That was disappointing.

Rear lowering springs

Reviewed By William G (Novi, MI) Reviewed for a 2012 Ford Escape —11/18/2016 6:05 PM

My 2012 Escape was high in rear so I purchased H&R lowering springs. I had to include fronts in the purchase because thats the only way to buy. Advertised drop was one and one half inch. After installing real springs the drop in rear was almost two and one half inches. Disappointed in how much drop it gave me. Unable to line up rear camber with that much drop and headlights cannot be adjusted down enough. Difficult to get factory springs out, don't try this at home.
