Yes they are the best for soft comfort....however I would have liked a bit more firmness to the ride. These are the heavy duty ones. 2002 Jeep wj

I installed these in my 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo with a 2 inch spring lift. The shock that came with the kit were shot within the first few months and that was before I even went off-road or towed with them. I replaced them in the front and rear with the Bilstien 5100 and I so far do not regret it. They are great on the highway and they made the ride so much smoother. I have also put them through heavy towing and some light duty off-roading and they hold up as well as they should.

I really like my jeep and when it came time to replace the shocks, I was looking at the Rancho Brand because I have been extremely please with them in the past. I didn't want a rough ride but rather a controlled and comfortable ride and the RS5000 as described are right on! Didn't really care for white with red boots on my green jeep and the install had nothing to do with the Ranchos.
