N3ew shocks

Reviewed By Gary G (Lewistown, MT) Reviewed for a 1981 Jeep J-10 —1/19/2009 2:48 PM

I put Hydro 7000 shocks on my 1981 Jeep J10 a couple months ago and it rides and handles better than it has since I acquired the truck( it still had its original shocks). The ride is firm, not bone jarring( no more bouncing). I no longer have to fight with the truck to stay on the road when I hit bumps on corners( I had a major problem with excessive body roll). I suggest that you wet the outside of the poly bushings with plain water, then they will easily slip into the shocks. Friends that helped me tried to force the bushings into the shock with a vise, I stopped them before they damaged something, stuck my finger in some water and smeared it around the outside of the bushing and it slipped into the shock easily by hand. Then I did the rest the same way.

New shocks, better ride

Reviewed By Kenneth N (DUBOIS, WY) Reviewed for a 1990 Jeep Wrangler —10/19/2016 9:26 PM

1990 yj keep wrangler rides like a buckboard. The shocks have helped. I live in Wyoming and the back roads are barely roads at all. You could seriously damage a kidney. The shocks really did improve the ride and the make the jeep much more fun to explore the mountains in.

ARB Twin On-Board Air Compressors Reviews

Best OBA compressor hands down!

Reviewed By Vincent B (MIDLAND, MI) Reviewed for a 2005 Jeep Wrangler —9/16/2016 6:02 AM

I can quickly air up all 4 of my 35s to a road drive-able pressure in minutes from only 7/8psi (beadlocks). I also use this to run both of my lockers and a train horn.I have not had the need to run air tools yet, but I have no doubt that this compressor is up to the task. Worth every penny, but I still wish it was cheaper!
