Gabriel Load Carrier Shocks Reviews

I'm happy. They did what I needed but, had to custom fit them.

Reviewed By R M (Keystone, SD) Reviewed for a 1987 Jeep Wagoneer —11/18/2017 8:50 PM

The length and compression are the same as stock factory specs that I needed for my 1987 Jeep Wagoneer Limited but, I had to fit the upper mount with the old cross pin from the shocks that I replaced with these and enlarge the lower bushing hole a little to fit the lower mounting stud. They added the extra support needed for the old sagging rear leaf springs until I can replace the old leaf springs with new ones. These shocks gave about an extra two inches lift to the rear of my Jeep.

Skyjacker Hydro 7000 Shocks & Struts Reviews

Ordinary, look legit

Reviewed By David J (TEMPE, AZ) Reviewed for a 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee —3/9/2018 9:48 AM

Intro "white-label" absorbers, so I got what I paid 4 (presumably U know what U want). On a ZJ ('98 Jeep), the lower bushing & mounting pin/bracket do not come pre-installed, so one must have a vice & (2) deep-well sockets or contraption for pressing the assembly (pin/bracket slid into bushing) into the bottom ring. I used WD-40 on a whim, plus vice & sockets, w/ light hammering to center. 2 weeks: working as expected. COI: I was motivated to leave this "Review" by a $10 coupon from SkyJacker.
