FCS Strut Assembly Reviews

Does not appear to be Macpherson shocks in the strut.

My reason for buying the struts instead of just shocks was for ease of installation. Shocks or struts require a spring compressor and partial disassembly of the brake arm and brake line. Not an easy task.

1993 400SEL Lowering Springs Installed

Reviewed By Raymond D (UNION CITY, CA) Reviewed for a 1993 Mercedes-Benz S-Class —1/1/2018 8:53 PM

I was looking for lowering springs that would not change the driving characteristics of the car. I've bought H&Rs & Eibachs in the past and they are great at lowering the car but also tend to stiffen the ride. These springs did indeed lower the car (about an inch & a half all the way around). The car drives exactly the same as before. If you are looking for lowering springs that simply lower your car without changing the drive characteristics, then these are the ones for you. Highly recommended!
