Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Springs Reviews

Great Product.

The eibach pro lowering kit is awesome. It lowered my enough to close the gap between the tire and the fender, but not too low to scrape everywhere i go. I did need the eibach alignment kit but beside that its a product in price and quality.

The arduous journey to new struts

Reviewed By Brian H (St. Charles, MO) Reviewed for a 2004 Mitsubishi Eclipse —4/18/2012 7:59 AM

Put a set on my Eclipse, for which there are few viable aftermarket alternatives. Koni doesn't make a dedicated strut for the front of this car. You have to saw the top off the old strut, remeove the guts, install the Koni insert and bolt it in. Great idea, if it works. Gutting and prepariing the old strut housings was not difficult. But due to certain quality control issues, getting the new inserts into them proved to be a real challenge. Took two weeks, an RMA and a second delivery to make it happen. Thanks for working with me on that, Auto Anything. The car feels great with them now. Vastly superior to OEM struts. Hope it lasts. I don't want to do that job again.

Instructions are really poor!

I'm enjoying being able to adjust my ride. For my eclipse, they dont have the dial. You just have to pop the hood and they adjust where the end pops out from the mounting bracket. Seriously though, no words on the instructions, only tiny pictures that sort of tell you what to do providing you can decipher their hieroglyphics.Other than that keep your mounting hardware from the old shocks. The boot bumper from KYB fits into the boot, which for my car made the metal cup unnecessary, use washer
