Gabriel Ultra ReadyMount Spring & Strut Assembly Reviews

Easy easy easy

Reviewed By Robert C (HOUSTON, TX) Reviewed for a 2008 Nissan Altima —4/7/2018 8:32 PM

I don't have the tools to transfer the spring over and it was just cheaper to buy a complete assembly. The hardest part was removing the old strut. The struts on my car had leaked years ago and I just never had time to replace. Once these were on I could tell the vehicle was sitting better. As for ride comfort, I haven't driven it enough to give an honest opinion, but once I've put some miles on them I'll come back and edit my review if I can. So far though I would definitely recommend these.

Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Springs Reviews

Pro-Kit Eibach

Reviewed By Levino V (SAN DIEGO, CA) Reviewed for a 2008 Nissan Altima —8/27/2015 4:24 PM

So I highly recommend these springs if you're looking for a modest drop. If you're looking to slam your car to the ground this is not the spring for you. I would suggest looking for coilovers if you want to do that. The Eibach pro-kit gave it a nice "grown man" drop. It eliminated a lot of wheel gap and I can really feel how much it eliminated roll in turns. The ride doesn't feel overly stiff or harsh which I like.

TEIN S.TECH Lowering Springs Reviews

Tein's Rock!

Reviewed By Joseph M (Whittier, CA) Reviewed for a 2008 Nissan Altima —11/25/2014 8:20 PM

The suspension is a little firmer, not harsh but firm. BUT the feedback thru the steering wheel is 10,000 times better. I can feel the contours of the road thru the wheel in my hands. Haven't bottomed out yet but i haven't driven if far yet either. I added the SPC 72290 adjustable camber arms with toe cam too. I would not have been able to get it in alignment without the SPC arm in the back.
