Love the rears but fronts are just OK on '02 Nissan Frontier 4X4

Reviewed By David E (Eustis, FL) Reviewed for a 2002 Nissan Frontier —6/14/2015 7:32 AM

First of all AutoAnything is GREAT! They will price match immediately over the phone if you call your order in. Just do some searching on line and get some numbers first. The Rancho RS5000 are really a low end aftermarket shock BUT they are way better than the OEMs. The rod is way larger than stock and they look great. The rears are great they stiffened the rear up great just as they should but the fronts are not much better than the OEMs with 175K on them. I'll get stiffer fronts next time

Gaining Control

Reviewed By KENT B (BEAUMONT, TX) —9/27/2015 4:59 AM

2012 Ford 350, This truck has been taken care of and worked hard, lots of 10-12,000 trailer towing, its used in our for our business. With 90,000 miles the original Ranch 5000 had played their part, the truck was starting to sway and and get the (death wobble) effect especially at higher speeds and no-load on the truck. Decided to try the RS7000 and add a new stearing stabilizer. COULD NOT BE HAPPIER, the ride is a little stiffer, but smooth stiff if that makes sence. Very happy with the purchase.

I was shocked

Reviewed By J (LYNDHURST, NJ) Reviewed for a 2005 Hummer H2 —9/17/2015 4:57 AM

The Rancho shocks are very well built and heavy duty, but there dial a ride is very poor quality compare to the overall shock it self there are no actual indication were the dial number should line up no physical indication alignment. Also you buy heavy duty shocks and you get a cheap plastic dial knob. Which is subject to diet and road grime and having to lay under vehicle to adjust when needed .other then that there a great shock installed in Hummer H2-3500 series chassie.
