Better Upgrade than Stock

Reviewed By Andrew R (Saint Paul, MN) Reviewed for a 2005 Nissan Xterra —10/28/2015 7:15 AM

The Sumosprings were twice the size of my stock axle stops, so going through holes and hitting bumps on the road was rough riding. Since installation, I've noticed a better riding comfort and the back end sits just a tick higher, giving my vehicle a more aggressive stance. I haven't done much in the way of loading it heavy or off-roading so I don't yet know how it'll stand up to it. I'm sure it'll do fine based on the other reviews.

Bilstein 5100 Series Shocks & Struts Reviews

Great shocks for the price.

Reviewed By Peter F (Brooklyn, NY) Reviewed for a 2005 Nissan Xterra —10/6/2015 9:20 PM

I'm at stock height, they are soft yet stiff at the same time, the leveling struts are a great idea but if you get it wrong you have to remove the strut in order to move the clip which is inconvenient. The front struts improved handling a lot, the rears feel a little to soft sometimes but i imagine thats going to make for a softer ride off road. All in all its a big upgrade from OEM.
