Airlift 1000 Air Springs 1995 Olds 98

Reviewed By Jeff H (Statesville, NC) Reviewed for a 1995 Oldsmobile 98 —8/28/2007 6:33 PM

wanted to take a moment and express how pleased I am thus far with the AirLift 1000 Air Spring. I own a 1995 Olds 98 with a 155,000 miles and cannot seem to depart with the vehicle. I have always loved everything about it except I did not have the support in the rear suspension for handling I would have liked. Well after stumbling upon your product , while searching for something totally different, I quickly review all the information you had on your site (i.e.: Installation Manual, On-Line Dealers) and made the decision to purchase. My cars has the 'self-leveling system' on it and it still works but I believe the springs have become a bit weak and I didn't want to invest in the $600 / $800 to replace the self adjusting shocks on a $2000 car.. Your product was the most logical alternative. I ordered last Thursday from Autoanything, com and received today at 11:00 am. I was test driving the installation at 1:00 pm. And I am excited to report that it has firmed the rear suspension and provided much better control in turns and dips. Thanks for a wonderful solution to my suspension need, I will be sharing the results with Friends and Family.

Wireless Air Installation

Reviewed By William K (Arlington, TX) Reviewed for a 2015 Ford F-250 —6/18/2015 9:08 PM

After reading the installation instructions, I decided the best place to install the system was in the truck bed. The system was assembled on a 8 inch by 12 inch aluminum plate and mounted to the front bulkhead of the bed on the driver side. The wires were run to the engine compartment and connected accordingly. The +12 volt wire via 15 amp fuse was connected to upfitter switch #1. This makes it easy to check everything except air bag connections without getting under truck.

So Far So Good

Reviewed By LARRY F (Millington, TN) Reviewed for a 2003 Chevy S10 Pickup —5/22/2015 11:03 AM

Not that hard to install. Will need TIN coated drill bits because the frame is TOUGH. Fits good and keeps S10 Xtreme pickup level when pulling trailer. Truck rides good with 10 lbs of air pressure when empty, and never had to have over 50 lbs pressure when trailer was loaded down. A good buy, and will be better with the optional compressor kit
