Came with new hardware which were the nuts for the top mount and new bolt and nut for bottom mount. The ride was much smoother then stock especially when hitting pot holes and bumps. Springs are thicker than stock. Unit fit exactly. My bottom bolts were rusty so it took a while to get them out which was a great reason to have new hardware.

My reason for buying the struts instead of just shocks was for ease of installation. Shocks or struts require a spring compressor and partial disassembly of the brake arm and brake line. Not an easy task.
