KONI Sport Yellow Shocks & Struts Reviews

Best upgrade....by far...I have ever made to my car!!!

Reviewed By Joe O (BRENTWOOD, CA) Reviewed for a 2012 Subaru Legacy —8/30/2013 8:28 AM

The Koni Yellows, while not specifically listed for my car, were a perfect fit since the Legacy suspension is shared with the 2008+ Impreza. The rear shocks were a direct replacement and I used the Koni inserts up front. The difference in ride and the way the car tracks through corners is now confidence inspiring and capable. Paired with my H&R sport springs, the car is now a true sport sedan. The adjustability of the Koni's allows me to tune the shocks to my springs and preferences.

I HAD REPLACED THE ORIGINAL SHOCKS WITH EDELBROCK IAS SHOCKS AT AROUND 25,000 MILES.I HAD BECOME OKAY WITH THE WAY IT HANDLED AND RODE,WHICH WAS PRETTY NICE,BUT AFTER REPLACING THOSE WITH THE BILSTEINS... BOOM. WHAT A DIFFERANCE.THIS IS THE WAY TO GO FOR THOSE LOOKING FOR TIGHT HANDLING AND A COMFORTABLE RIDE IN A FULL SIZE TRUCK.

Instructions are really poor!

I'm enjoying being able to adjust my ride. For my eclipse, they dont have the dial. You just have to pop the hood and they adjust where the end pops out from the mounting bracket. Seriously though, no words on the instructions, only tiny pictures that sort of tell you what to do providing you can decipher their hieroglyphics.Other than that keep your mounting hardware from the old shocks. The boot bumper from KYB fits into the boot, which for my car made the metal cup unnecessary, use washer
