KYB MonoMax Shocks & Struts Reviews

Feel good about my purchase

These installed nicely on my 2002 4runner. Getting the old OEM ones with 145k miles off was a pain due to rust. It feels like I have a whole new vehicle now after I replacing all 4 on the front and rear. I thought about going with the blisten but after reading how stiff it made the ride I decided to go with KYB MonoMax and I'm glad I did. My ride feels just about the same as OEM but maybe a little softer. All in all things are smoother and handling is much better.

4th Gen 4runner 5100s

Reviewed By Daniel L (MARIETTA, GA) Reviewed for a 2007 Toyota 4Runner —2/27/2018 5:21 AM

Went with the second setting which is .85" lift. Provides enough height for what the factory look should have been. Could go with the higher settings for more tire, but this setting looks good fine with the stock tires. These replaced the factory shocks at 120k which probably could have lasted longer, but it is a noticeably improved ride!
