"I have a 2008 Tundra with the base suspension and the 5.7 engine. The torque from the engine overpowered the base leaf springs and there was way too much flex in the rear end. The Emu kit took care of all that. This system rides great. The truck look fantastic and I get comments wherever I go. The springs haven't settled yet, so I don't know the total lift, but I suspect it will be marginally more that 2 1/2". I love it, and the guy that installed the kit has already ordered one for his truck." —Jon D from Lakeland , FL bought an Old Man Emu NitroCharger Suspension Systems for a 2008 Toyota Tundra, 5.7L V8.
"Just put this kit on my 08 Tundra.
Kit was pretty straight forward, but I had a couple of questions and had to call tech support.
There are two large spacers which are for the differential drop and there were three smaller spacers that I didn't know what they were for.
Called tech support and found out they were for the skid plate.
Tech support said they are way behind on updating the instructions, but they were planning on it.
Otherwise, great kit." —Josh H from Summerset, SD bought a Traxda Lift Kits for a 2008 Toyota Tundra.
