Air Lift Air Bag Suspension Kit Reviews (1 of 410+)

Although it took 4 hours to install, the directions were helpful on the flexibility of location. I was able to mount the items almost directly over the axle, (using a small piece of 1/4 inch flat bar for a spacer under the front of the lower brackets. At this location the bags were only about an inch compressed so the ride was unchanged with out the trailer, and with only 20lbs of air the trailer was completely level. No more dragging bumper. The only thing bad about the kit was that there needs to be more of the little squre spacers in it. On my 97 dodge 1500 4x4 the indents in the frame where I chose to locat the bags needed spacers on 6 of the bolts. I found that large flat washers worked fine.

Air Lift Load Controller II Reviews (1 of 20+)

The product worked great but we were a little picky on where and how to mount the unit so it took quite some time. One thing it could use would be more air line or to leave the air line all in bulk and let you cut each piece to the length that you need. We also opted to mount the compressor unit under the hood. With living in WI the salt and winter conditions will stay clear of the unit this way.Overall great unit so far.

Air Lift Wireless Air Compressor System Reviews (1 of 10+)

Had a bit of trouble with the installation. The included instructions were good but the kit came with some wrong parts. For example, the fitting from the compressor to the inflation/deflation manifold was the wrong size for the supplied air hose. I had to track down my own 1/4" compression fitting. Additionally, the original manifold that came with my kit did not work. Air Lift customer service was quick to send out a replacement and I had it all installed less than a week after I called them for the part. Still, it was a hassle and makes me worry about the reliability a bit. Time will tell. Now that it is installed though, the system works great. It is very convenient to be able to inflate and deflate the bags on demand.

I had been looking for a air system that would let me air up the bags on my F150 and also allow me to do things like fill up truck and trailer tires, inflatable toys for the kids, ect. I finally found this kit after searching and doing research on it. Autoanything had by far the best price and also great customer service!

I put these on my 2004 GMS Sierra 3500 Durama 4x4 because when I installed my plow, my ground clearance dropped to only 4". Took close to 2 hours to put them on myself, with basic tools, and noe I'm back around 7" and ready to plow. They do what they are supposed to do, and they do it for about $50 less than Timbrens. I'll use them again.
