I a person with no mechanical at all with little tools. I bought the lift because I have a Sled Bed on top of my truck that holds to snowmobiles and it needed a little lift to bring down the headlights. The lift was east to install. The only problem i had was removing the bold on the truck that holds on the bottom out bumper. It twisted of so when installing the lift i only used on bumper bolt and had a guy put a spot of weld on the lift and frame. Works great and easy. i am thinking about putting on for a buddy and charging him a 100 for the install. took me 2 hours.

The most difficult assembly task encountered was the removal of the 6 rivets on the front bumper stop brackets, in order to provide clearance for the air spring assembly. Locating the air springs forward of center was not possible because of the sway bar interference. The need to remove the bumper stop brackets could have been eliminated if the lower bracket for the air spring was designed to clear the sway bar for forward of center mounting of the air spring. Allowing the bumper stop to remain undisturbed could also help prevent a "bottoming-out" condition, in the event of a air spring failure.Other than the above, the product components appear to be well designed, quality produced and customer friendly.

This system is the best I purchased the complete system for my 1994 Ford F-150 4x4 because I do a lot of hauling I had about 2000 pounds on my truck the other day (first load since the system was installed)and it handled great I only put about 30 psi in the bags with a max psi of 100 and that was plenty to keep the truck a couple of inches above factory ride height if you purchased this system you wont be disappointed. The in cab system i purchased was the level 2 command heavy duty compressor which was $338 because a regular level 1 compressor might not have been able to pump up the bags with a load on it,I hope this comment helps.

Bought the Viair 350C Air system & am pretty happy with it. System comes complete with some pretty simple instructions to follow. Only thing I'm a little disappointed about was it's suppose to go to #150 PSI & it only runs up to #135 PSI. Verified pressure with a 2nd guage & thats as high as it goes....Still functions everything fine but no #150 as advertised. All in all, very happy with the system & AutoAnything with this purchase!Clay

Installed the Air Lift 5000 with the Controller 11. The installation took several hours to route the airlines neatly and run the wires properly. I tapped the power for the lights for the gauges off the power line for the compressor. You need to get your power from the fuse box under the hood (key switch hot). The compressor is mounted under the hood, drivers side. Once installed properly everything works perfectly. No more headlights pointed in the sky!
