Replaced the shocks and struts on a 2001 Acura MDX with 158,000 miles. I don't know if the ones on the vehicle were originals since I bought the vehicle with 92,000 miles on it. The rear shocks were beefier than the Honda shocks. The front springs were very strong so I paid a shop $70 to swap the springs onto the new struts. Great ride and handling with the new shocks.

The front shocks were a bear to replace but the rear shocks were so easy it made up for the problems on the front. One of the front shocks was missing a washer which made for an excursion to find a replacement.
