Gabriel Ultra Shocks 2006 Silverado (Front)
These shocks were quite easy to install taking about an hour or so on a hoist at my friends garage. My originals were worn out with no nitrogen uplift left in them. We did pull the tires off since slush and snow caused dripping was present in January here. The truck rides real nice now.
The shocks are very nice for the price. The passenger side takes some work to install but the drivers side is a pain due to the upper shock mount location. I removed the upper collar that holds the spring on, installed the mounting bolts, compressed the spring and slipped the collar back onto the shaft. It's been a couple weeks and they feel like new shocks feel. The rear of my suburban doesn't feel as floaty as it used to. If your vehicle has a heavy rearend like mine, you'll appreciate these.
