Control arm for 98 ford contour to replace Moog
I have tried three sets of Moog Control arms with the rubber bushings failing within 2 years each set. I have finally tried TRW and am hoping that they may last longer. Overall they look good but only time will tell. The control arm looks nothing like the picture shown, The unit I have has two pressed in bushings where one bolt goes through each bushing to hold it to the subframe...
Good replacement shock
Seems to be the same as the OEM on my Murano. It does well on most surfaces including washboard. The original lasted 85k before one developed a leak. Installation was easy except for getting the boot and backet off the old shock to install on the new. The design of an inset nut and short piston end that needs another tool to hold makes it almost impossible to remove. Reinstall was simple and fast.
