What a P.I.T.A to install, and missing 2 bolts!

Listen, it's a decent lift, relatively inexpensive and looks pretty darn good. I makes your truck look lifted but not making it look like a monster truck. BAD NEWS, the kit was missing 2 bolts! 2! That is just horrible quality control. totally derailed the project. Started on a Sat, and realized on a Sun that they were missing. Took 2 days to find a place that stocked the bolt. Terrible directions. Thank God my helper was a mechanic. Otherwise get a professional if you want it done right!

There was only one gap guard in the box. You need one for each side so I guess you need two boxes. They are too short to cut in half & with five attachment holes you would cut the center hole down the middle. The plastic attachment snaps would probably not hold them anyways. Lesson learned.

these were a fairly simple and very nice installation. Truly made the trucks appearance and ride 100% better. Only problem was the class 4 hitch which would not allow removal of the shackle bolts so I removed the hitch, installed the kit, then put the hitch back on, adding about 45 minutes to a 30 minute install. Very satisfied with my purchase. Thank you Scott
