Belltech Lowering Block Kit Reviews

The U bolts were about 1/2" too short.

Reviewed By Ronald A (Tunnel Hill, GA) Reviewed for a 2008 Chevy Colorado —7/21/2015 2:03 PM

I had to purchase longer U Bolts locally for 40.00 because yours were too short by about 1/2". The nylon lock nuts liked about 3 threads getting into the nylon locking ring at head of mounting bolts. So, considering I had to pay 40.00 more locally, after tearing down truck, so I could get back on road, they were not a deal. Very disappointed with Belltech. I have purcased half dozen or so products from their name brand and never had problems before.

Bilstein Comfort Shocks & Struts Reviews

Superior quality and design more money but worth it

Reviewed By James R (Mesa, AZ) Reviewed for a 1996 Lincoln Town Car —7/8/2015 4:00 PM

I replace my shocks on my Ford Panther chassis every 50k miles. The last two times the shocks were a twin tube design which in the last few years seem that they were barley making it to the 50k as they were leaking and had very poor dampening. The rear shocks on my car have an extremely tight area for the top mount.I would suggest use a regular top nut with lock tight. Use string tide to the top pieces to prevent loosing them between the frame and inner fender well. Then cut the string after.

EPIC SHOCKS!!!

Reviewed By Corey C (SMYRNA, TN) Reviewed for a 2007 Volkswagen GTI —7/4/2015 10:49 PM

Spent 16 hours under my MKV GTI on a lift installing these with the Eibach Pro Kit springs and Eibach Sway Bars and Whiteline Endlinks. All great quality and stiffened up my ride while the FSDs kept me comfortable as well as tI'd to the road aND tight around be ds aND corners. Hitting an on ramp, you feel them tighten up as those lateral Gs start to rip your face off but they hold. The FSDs really are amazing and they are a steal on this site.
