My truck is 20 years old with stock shocks so I figured they were due for a change even though mine weren%X92t completely toast. Installion was as expected on an old vehicle from the northwest but nothing too bad. Took me 3.5 hours and I%X92m certainly no mechanic. After inspecting my old shocks, I%X92m glad I changed them. They were way less functional than the new KYB replacements. Suspension is significantly less soft and the quality of the KYB shocks looked very good, especially compared to the OE
Control arm for 98 ford contour to replace Moog
I have tried three sets of Moog Control arms with the rubber bushings failing within 2 years each set. I have finally tried TRW and am hoping that they may last longer. Overall they look good but only time will tell. The control arm looks nothing like the picture shown, The unit I have has two pressed in bushings where one bolt goes through each bushing to hold it to the subframe...
