Air Lift Air Bag Suspension Kit Reviews

Installation instructions

Reviewed By Irwin S (Zephyrhills, FL) Reviewed for a 2003 Ford F-150 —12/2/2008 1:43 PM

Need definitive explaination for setting installation height. Finally established that midrange of positioning jig (plastic rod) gives both up and down range required to ride properly. Everything went very well, except for moving brake line, gas line and parking brake cable; a real P I A to position two nuts and washers behind them. Of course its a Ford!

Air Lift Load Controller II Reviews

2005 Chevy Avalanche

Reviewed By Charles C (Katy, TX) Reviewed for a 2011 Ford F-150 —11/17/2008 7:37 PM

The controller was not a problem to install once I got some clarifications from the tech department (not available on weekends) and some hints from an Avalanche owners website. The instructions would be better if it offered some recommendations on where to mount the compressor and where to pass the lines through the firewall; I understand these are vehicle specific, but general recommendations could be given (i.e. I thought the compressor was meant to be mounted under the hood (safe from the elements), but there was not enough air- line in the kit for this. The tech support mentioned that it is water resistant and a lot of people mount it above the spare tire...that is what I ended up doing, but hints like that should be in the instruction manual.

Rancho RS5000 Shocks & Struts Reviews

nice job Rancho

Reviewed By Kyle A R (Mosinee, WI) Reviewed for a 2005 Ford F-150 —7/10/2008 6:25 AM

I put the shocks on 2005 f-150 and they are better than the OEM for sure. They seem too make a little more noise after you hit a big bump. But it could be because of my over sized tires. Over all I like them very much.
