Bilstein Heavy Duty Shocks & Struts Reviews

bolting on stock shocks on an f-150 is a waste of time. The Bilstein Heavy Duty shocks are worth spending a little more money, they do control the suspension while still giving the truck a nice ride.

Skyjacker Hydro 7000 Steering Stabilizers Reviews

Pleased with product despite needed modification

Reviewed By Johnathan M (Jacksonville, FL) Reviewed for a 1988 Ford F-150 —1/11/2011 9:40 AM

I put this dual steering stabilizer kit on my 88 F-150. I have a 8" susp lift along with a 3" body on 40" tires on 14" wide rims. My truck is going to have poor steering, I'm content with that. These steering stabilizers didn't help much with the constant struggle fighting my steering wheel, which I will continue to have with such wide tires, but I noticed a HUGE difference in the sudden "jerk" in the steering wheel due to potholes, grooves in the road, etc. I have also noticed the steering is alot tighter in the corners than before. Before the skyjackers, I had a dual set of procomps, but I did not make the modifications I did with the skyjackers. I had to weld two of the drop brakets together to fix the geometry of the steering stabilizers (strait across rather than at a severe tilt). Aside from that, the procomps were over five years old and didn't seem to hold up to the quality that the skyjackers offer from what I have noticed already. I love this product and recommend it to everyone with an extreme lift, even if you have to make additional modifications like I did.

Air Lift Air Bag Suspension Kit Reviews

air lift on a lifted f150

Reviewed By Paul G (EL CAJON, CA) Reviewed for a 2013 Ford F-150 —12/6/2014 8:46 AM

I had put a 2.5 level lift on my truck and did not like how it towed my 11,00lb trailer.Install went very smooth without any trouble. hooked up my trailer to my truck, i only had to put 35 psi( out of 100psi max) in the bags to level the truck out. Can not believe the how much better the truck tows, no more sway.I did install a "t" fitting in the air line so that i could fill up both air bags at the same time. I bought this kit because it can be run at 0 psi. did not change the stock ride.
