Skyjacker Hydro 7000 Steering Stabilizers Reviews

Easy to install and really helped with the steering.

Reviewed By Bryan D (Ottawa, IL) Reviewed for a 1993 Ford F-150 —12/5/2015 9:21 PM

Installed a single Hydro 7000 on a 1993 Ford F150 XLT 2WD. No lift but the tires have been upped to 31x10.50 All Terrain. The steering was loose and the Skyjacker helped quite a bit. After replacing the front shocks it drives like a new truck, especially over railroad tracks and gravel roads. My son and I installed it in about 30 minutes.

1993 Ford F-150

My old truck needed new shocks real bad. One of the front shocks was blown out to the point of rattling my dash loose. After I installed the new Skyjackers this brought a new life to the old girl. Smooth ride, easy to install, tough rugged look, fair price. Word of advice to anyone changing old shocks, spray some WD-40 or a similar type oil on the back of the nuts the day before you change your shocks. Only problem was the decal supplied for front shock was bigger than the shocks surface.

Ordered the in cab system for the ease of adjusting the air bags with different loads and road conditions. Better than finding air supplies to add air when adding a heavier load or releasing air when load is lighter.easy to install and the air gauge looks good in the cab also mounted the compressor behind the back seat. Don't even notice the compressor running when adding air.
