Not sure which 2001 Ford F-150 Shocks & Struts are right for you? We have over 1932 customer reviews, with an average rating of 4.5, to help you find exactly what you're looking for. Here's what some of our customers have said:
"These shocks replaced some high pressure gas sport shocks. They provide good control while being much less harsh than the sport shocks. Very nice ride and the truck still handles much better than stock." —Russell D from Marietta, GA bought a Bilstein Heavy Duty Shocks for a 2001 Ford F-150.
"Made a major difference in the handling with a much firmer ride that was welcomed" —Carl T from Hauppauge, NY bought a Rancho RS5000 Shocks for a 2001 Ford F-150.
"Got pair of Bilsteins for front and pair for back. My 2001 F150 had 145k miles on original OEM shocks. But that was so long ago, it is hard to compare new shocks with new OEM from 12 years ago. With that said, the new shocks are very nice with smooth, but tight ride. My choice was based on good reviews. 4 out of 5 stars just because they met my expectations, but I am not blown away." —Tim C from Austin, TX bought a Bilstein Heavy Duty Shocks for a 2001 Ford F-150.
"Easy to install, but you have to figure out that the small nut at the top of the shock is how you hold it to tighten up the mounts.
Look good, ride great, simple install. Lower profile than some other shocks, so your truck does ride a little lower, not by much. Overall, ride waaaay better than stock.
I would get these over the two higher priced/higher quality versions of rancho unless you are really picky or really stress your vehicle. These shocks (at about 2/3 to 1/2 the price)take us to school, work, dumpyard, Home Depot etc no problem.
If you are a neophyte: they come with ZERO directions, but it ain't hard." —Glen Jeffrey P from Spotsylvania, VA bought a Rancho RS5000 Shocks for a 2001 Ford F-150.
"The ordering experience went well and had great customer service to ensure that the proper equipment would be sent and anything else needed for installation. The only thing that went wrong was that not everything came in the order. I had to call back and get them to send me a pair of bushings that were missing but had no trouble what so ever in getting my missing parts sent to me. Thanks auto anything, I will order again from you soon!!" —Hector D from Houston, TX bought a Rancho RS5000 Shocks for a 2001 Ford F-150.
"these shocks are very nice. they ride very well i can fell a big difference when i go over bumps on any kind of roads. they make for a nice smoth ride." —Nicholas N from Roundup, MT bought a Rancho RS9000XL Shocks for a 2001 Ford F-150.
