Bilstein 5100 Series Shocks & Struts Reviews

Built to last

Way better then a spacer when raising the front. Spacers can bind the coil (That's what the ford dealer told me. They said it raised it more then a 2 inch spacer and I set it at 1 inch. It also adds travel. I just carried the heaviest load ever moving a friends garage, truck with trailer load with snapon tool boxes loaded. Shocks are impressive just watching the action when being loaded and driving with such a load. Awesome shock!

Excellent Product

Reviewed By Robert M (Seymour, TN) Reviewed for a 2004 Ford F-150 —9/9/2013 8:27 PM

I was very impressed with the product itself. The quality is top notch. Installation is easy for someone with good mechanical ability. If you are unsure in your abilities then take it to a mechanic to prevent issues. Beware that when I ordered the product said it would ship out in 1-3 days, but I had to wait almost 2 weeks for a delay that I wasn't contacted about. So overall the product is excellent, just slightly disappointed in the shipping delay that I wasn't notified for.

Great Product - Easy installation

Reviewed By David L (MANASSAS, VA) Reviewed for a 2006 Ford F-150 —7/9/2015 4:52 AM

Awesome product easy install. I wanted a softer ride and set them at 2 but wanted the option to improve ride quality when pulling a load. Technically, a coil-over-shock setup made the install simple as no spring compression is required. Watch on-line video instructions for install, the provide instructions suck. About a 2" lift. Took about 2.5 hours first side less than an hour on the other side. Also installed Rancho 9000 on the rear. Truck rides GREAT! Get alignment done after done.
