Good prodfuct

Reviewed By David S (BEMIDJI, MN) Reviewed for a 2008 Ford F-150 —3/19/2015 9:12 AM

I put the kit in this last week. Everything went as the instructions said and it took about 4 hours working at a conferrable pace as I have learned to do. The truck sits 3 inches higher; much more level and there is much better clearance. I had to put an extension on my plow mount and will have to adjust my headlights. I had the truck aligned as per the instructions. They did everything I wanted them to do.

Simple install for novice.

The installation video on the manufacturers website walked me through the entire process. Simple. Easy. Looks great!! When bolting kit on top of strut, be sure to use the 3 original nuts that you remove and bolt them back on the strut studs. The 3 new nuts should only go on top of the new extension. The threads dont match exactly and it will be a royal pain if you try to put new nuts on old studs. I did this with one nut and immediately caught the error when it wouldn't thread properly.

Good Product that is well built

Reviewed By William M (LANARK, IL) Reviewed for a 2014 Ford F-150 —10/1/2015 5:27 AM

The product itself is very good quality and raised the front nicely. The downfall is that we have a 2014 F150, and the strut brackets have changed, and the directions did not have the update. We had to pretty much tear everything off including pulling the front axle out of the spindle to get the strut out. It wasnt terrible, it just took a little more time to figure out what all had to come off. The second side only took about an hour and a half from start to finish.
