EASY RIDE IMPROVEMENT
I installed on my 2008 Chevy 2500hd duramax. Pretty straight forward install, going to throw some 285 75 16 mud tires on soon. Don't think there will be any clearance issues. I went ahead and got the rear shocks to match and the ride is noticeably better. I have 93k on the truck and those shocks were gone.
I had to use about 5/8 inch of washers ( big nut actually) to make the U-bolts work. The threads were not deep enough. When I bought them they asked about a 2" lift, I thought they meant the 2" factory lift. If so they screwed up if not I screwed up. But they are good U- bolts and the job is done.
Very pleased with these
I lowered my truck 2 in front and 4 in the rear. My front was suspension was riding on the stock bump stops after the drop so these were necessary. They're made of a hard foam with is better for bump stops than polyurethane I feel. No more bump steer! They're nice and progressive and shelter than the stock ones. Wish I had bought a second set for the rears. Cost me $24 which I feel is fair but not really a "sweet deal". Will recommend to friends and would buy again.
