My truck is 20 years old with stock shocks so I figured they were due for a change even though mine weren't completely toast. Installion was as expected on an old vehicle from the northwest but nothing too bad. Took me 3.5 hours and I'm certainly no mechanic. After inspecting my old shocks, I'm glad I changed them. They were way less functional than the new KYB replacements. Suspension is significantly less soft and the quality of the KYB shocks looked very good, especially compared to the OE

Seems to be the same as the OEM on my Murano. It does well on most surfaces including washboard. The original lasted 85k before one developed a leak. Installation was easy except for getting the boot and backet off the old shock to install on the new. The design of an inset nut and short piston end that needs another tool to hold makes it almost impossible to remove. Reinstall was simple and fast.

I replaced the front struts and rear shocks with KYB nice tight ride. Much smoother although I had a blown strut so I would expect that. All in all a ride well good value for the money.

Direct replacement for E70 X5 non-sport. Very reasonably priced. Ride quality is on a stiffer side (but not uncomfortable). Time will tell the long term reliability.
